A 15 mm higher seat height and with that same amount of extra ground clearance, it's designed to feel as compact as it can be, while accomodating a wide range of riders, and the result is the most lightweight, agile, performance-focused mid-class Naked. HITTING THE APEXTorsional stiffness and rider feel were prioritized when developing the KTM 990 DUKE's tubular frame, which also forms the foundations of the R version. It's built with a sport-orientated personality, with both agility and stability combining to make for an immersive riding experience. An updated linkage mounting point has been introduced, without affecting the bike's value of stiffness. It also packs an aluminum die-cast subframe, which integrates side air intakes for form and function.
