ICON
THE BIRTH OF AN ICON
The original Triumph Bonneville T120 Thruxton racer played a major part in early motorsport on both sides of the Atlantic, where the first incarnation of this incredible motorcycle was a dominating force right from the start, literally making its name following the first-ever Thruxton 500 race win in 1958.
|
SIXTIES
SUCCESS IN THE SIXTIES
Inspired by that first win, the original limited-edition Thruxton endurance racer was born to compete in the 1965 season. It was an instant success, going on to lock-out the podium taking first, second, and third position at the 1969 Thruxton 500-mile race.
|
LEGEND
THE LEGEND REBORN
With all the hallmarks of a pure café racer, one of the first models to roll out of the then new Triumph Hinckley factory was the 900cc Thruxton, which saw a four-year production run from 2004 – the legend was reborn.
|
ULTIMATE
THE ULTIMATE CAFÉ RACER
With Triumph leading the thriving modern classic scene, one machine was notable by its absence. After an eight-year hiatus, in 2016 the first 1200cc Thruxton R hit the showrooms. With an all-new design and more performance than ever before, the Thruxton R created a new performance benchmark for the modern era.
|
EVOLUTION
THE FINAL CHAPTER
The Final Edition represents the pinnacle of Thruxton development, celebrating two decades of the Thruxton in the modern era with all the hallmarks of the celebrated Thruxton RS and an exclusive hand-finished design scheme, available for one last production run.
