Built on the proven CRF250R platform, the CRF250RX brings quick handling, lightweight precision, and competition-ready performance to the off-road world. Equipped with an 18-inch rear wheel, specially tuned power delivery, a larger fuel tank, and handguards, it’s ready to race everywhere from tight trees to wide-open desert. New for 2027, bold graphics with horizontal Honda and CRF logos, plus blue side number plates and rear fender, give it a unified Honda HRC racing look.

Engine & Drivetrain

• DOHC Engine Layout

A unique finger-follower rocker design and a double-overhead-cam (DOHC) engine layout provide more power and a higher redline.

• Fuel Injection System

Tilting the fuel injector at a 60-degree angle sprays fuel directly towards the throttle butterfly, providing the engine with a denser and cooler fuel charge and increasing torque and power.

• Big Bore/Short Stroke

With the 79 mm bore and short 50.9 mm stroke, it let our engineers create a high-revving engine with plenty of room for large valves—two keys to making power in the cross-country world.

Chassis & Suspension

• Dunlop Geomax AT81 Tires

Dunlop’s Geomax AT81 tires are specifically designed for cross-country use. They are spec'd at 21 inches for the front and 18 inches for the rear.

• Race-Bred Chassis

We tuned the tripleclamps, frame, fork, and steering stem for ideal chassis rigidity and responsiveness to give the bike cornering feel for days.

• Responsive Frame

A superior frame is crucial for excellent handling, and the chassis delivers. It's lightweight and responsive, with narrow main spars, and was designed with direct input from Team Honda HRC riders.
